Travel with us on a unique side-by-side journey through folk-inspired music from this country and those of our Spanish-speaking neighbors to the south. All four featured composers, including Americans Aaron Copland and Roy Harris, infuse their music with references to folk traditions. And one of them - South American harpist and composer Alfredo Rolando Oritz, who brought our Family concert audience to their feet in 2008 – will join us in an intriguing performance of one of his own works.
